Please explain

If the "if" comes before FCD, why is it not seen as the sufficient condition since it is directly after the "if?"

@cassidyv "if" introduces a sufficient condition so this sentence would be diagrammed as follows:

FCD ==> KAE

But remember, every general principle has a contrapositive that is identical in meaning.

Contrapositives are created by reversing and negating.

So the contrapositive here would be:

not KAE ==> not FCD

(C) is the contrapositive so (C) would be the correct answer.
