Timing

The diagrams for this question and explanation are great; however, I'm struggling to understand how I can implement this strategy and still answer the question in 1:24. Can you please explain the idea behind diagramming out these questions when it comes to timing? I know I can't be expected to do all of this diagramming on the actual test, so I'm curious to know what I'm missing here. Thanks!

Hi @yonnim, thanks for your post. You raise a great question.

Many students find that accurate diagramming slows them down - at first. With consistent practice, however, students often find that their speed *and* accuracy both improve if they are able to correctly and quickly diagram certain questions.

For this reason, we advise students to split their study time - especially at first - between untimed studying and timed practice. In untimed studying, give yourself the time you need to correctly diagram logical reasoning questions (and set up games completely, etc. etc.).

Then, as you start to do timed practice, hopefully you will find that your accuracy has improved - and that you are able to diagram questions within the time allotted.

Best of luck. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
