Explanation?

Hi - I had a hard time understanding how the answers choices related to the question. I was able to eliminate down to (B) and (D) but chose (B) - mostly because the language seemed more consistent (e.g. looking into the past is something that comes up in both Marc and Roberts dialogue).

@hannah93092 Let's just look at B and D. B tells us that the people of the country are (or are not) looking to the past for solutions. However, neither Marc nor Robert discuss whether they're looking for solutions; just that they're nostalgic. Since we don't know either of their thoughts about whether the people of the country are using the past for solutions, we can't pick B.

D tells us that their nostalgic shows that they're concerned about the country's current situation. Marc says that the people regret the revolution, indicating that they're concerned. Robert says they don't regret the revolution, but they are troubled. This gives us a point of agreement: both think the people are concerned/troubled! We can pick D with certainty.

The best thing to do for agreement/disagreement questions is to ask yourself what each person thinks of the possible answer. If you don't know what either or both think, it can't be right.
