Hi @hye, thanks for your post. The question stem here says "The advertisement is misleading if which one of the following is true?"
Remember that all advertisements are arguments. Where, as here, you are being asked to select an answer choice that, if true, makes the advertisement misleading, you are being asked to *weaken* that argument.
An "Errors in Reasoning" question stem would read more like "The advertisement adopts which of the following questionable techniques?"

Got it! On the flip side, what would be an indicator that would "strengthen" an advertisement based argument?

"Strengthen" question stems often read:
"Which one of the following, if true, most helps to strengthen the argument?" "Which one of the following, if true, most supports the argument?"
"Strengthen" questions ask you to select the answer choice that, if true, improves the argument's ability to draw its conclusion.
