This question is asking you to identify the type of question this stem would come with so you know how to tackle it on the test. When we say each of the following statements conflict with the author's point of view EXCEPT, we have a Could Be True question. That is, we are going to have four answers that CANNOT be true given the author's point of view, and one that could, which is the correct answer. @Gdlemus2011

Hello, why is this NOT a must be true? because if it does not conflict with the authors view then shouldnt it inherently be must be true

So the four incorrect answer choices WOULD conflict, whereas the correct answer choice COULD conflict?

Please replace WOULD with DO for the answer explanation

I selected Must be True though now, after reading the explanation, I realize it's essential to understand the stem question fully. So I think I have to go over the flashcards a few more times. I remember these types of questions when I took the LSAT.

I have found it's essential to refer to our printed material and written notes for clarification. I say this because I'm a nursing school educator I have an MSN with a post certificate in healthcare education. We have to move from pedagogy to andragogy as we progress through these courses. So taking notes is essential and I've had to go over my notes several times. I also believe the videos are essential. I love the office hours recorded lectures because the instructors have the experience of taking the test and evidently done well.

PS I believe Bloom's Taxonomy is applicable in learning, primarily when associated with andrology.

The four incorrect answer choices on this question are all things that would conflict with the letter writer's view. This means that the one remaining (and correct) answer choice will be something that does not conflict with the letter writer's view. If something doesn't conflict with a view, then it is something that could be true, so that's why this is a could be true question with a bizarro stem.

why wouldn't it be cannot be true?

Emil-Kunkin January 12, 2024

Becuase the questions asks us which cannot be true except the right answer. This means that the right answer will be something that can be true, and the four wrong answers are things that cannot be true.
