why is e wrong?

I don't understand why E is wrong. It seems like the author of passage A would support and the author of passage B wouldn't.

Answer choice E is wrong because it's too broad. Note the phrasing: "OTHER non-native plant species." Both authors are taking positions on the spread of purple loosestrife and how humans should (or should not) respond to it. Neither author mentions whether they believe that measures should be take against other non-native plant species.
