Hi, I am wondering how we got the inference that Juan, Nita and Trisha must be the ones with shared lockers. Is it because R has to be by herself?

@Andrew-Kroczynski, you're absolutely right. If Rachel must be by herself, and there are 4 boys, none of which can share a locker with another boy, then both of the other girls must share a locker with one of the boys. Juan must share a locker because it is one of the rules. Any of the other boys could potentially be the other single.
