I'm having a similar problem with the explanation video.
The explanation stated that she can only spend 4 days in Nomo: Why? If there are 14 days of travel and the rules do not specify a maximum number of days than why 4. Furthermore, the explanation goes on to say that she will spend 2 days in both country's Y &Z so that gives us a total of 8 days travel time.

Four days is the maximum amount of time that Hannah can spend in Nomo (a specific city in Country X). Four days is NOT the maximum amount of time that Hannah can spend in Country X total.
(1) Why can Hannah only spend 4 days in Nomo? The question tells us that Hannah "spends as many days as possible in Nomo and as few days as possible in each of the other cities that she visits." We know that Hannah visits a total of 6 cities, one of which is Nomo. Let's look at the other 5 cities she visits. From the question we know that we want her to spend as few days as possible in these 5 cities, and from the game setup we know that she must spend a minimum of 2 days in each city. So, let's assign 2 days to the 5 other cities Hannah will visit. This totals to 10 days. From the game setup, we know that Hannah has 14 days total to spend, so we have 4 days left. Therefore, we will assign these 4 days to Nomo.
(2) Why can Hannah spend more than 4 days in Country X? In the video explanation, we designed different possible arrangements that met the criteria of the question. We started by drawing out the most straightforward type of possible scenarios- those in which Nomo is the only city in Country X that Hannah visits, meaning she spends a total of 4 days in Country X. However, it is important to note that these scenarios are just some of the possible arrangements. We could continue designing scenarios in which Nomo is not the only city in Country X (resulting in Hannah spending more than 4 days in the country), but we didn't because we were able to arrive at the correct answer choice with the arrangements we had and we wanted to be time-efficient. Nevertheless, as answer choice (A) clarifies, it is possible for Hannah to visit other cities/spend more than 4 days in Country X.
