Question Wording

I had a little trouble understanding what exactly the question was asking. (I watched the video but this wasn't addressed) Could you please break down what exactly the test makers are wanting us to find? The wording regarding 'first and last could be the first and second' was particularly confusing. Thanks

I had the same problem because the test used the terms "first" and "second" to describe the number of messages left by an individual not the order in which the individual left the message

That was a bit confusing. I'll break it down:

1) Which person (of the six people) left the FIRST and LAST messages.

2) These two messages were that person's FIRST and SECOND messages.

3) As that person's SECOND message was the LAST message on the machine, it was also that person's SECOND and FINAL message.

4) That means that the game distribution is a (2-1-1-1-1 game). In other words, five people in total left messages (ruling out Greta), and one of those people (message 1 & 6) left 2 messages. The other four people only left one message.

I was also confused by the wording of this question. Glad I was not the only one! :)
