Explain what the question is asking for.

I have the same question as Jenna below. However there hasn't been a response to her question. Can someone please explain the question. Thank you.

Hi @rpedregon, thanks for your post.

This game is tricky because it is not a one-to-one correspondence game: in other words, although you are given 6 people and 6 slots for messages, you are not told that each person left exactly one message. Rather, you are told that "at most one person left more than one message" and that "no person left more than three messages," which means that it is possible that one or more of the 6 people identified did not leave any message.

This particular question is asking you which person could have called and left two messages on the answering machine, one of which was the first message on the machine, and the second of which was the last message on the machine.

the question makes it sound like the person left the first, second, and last message on the machine to me.
