Hello ^?? Can you please help?

I’m happy to help. As always, let’s start with the question stem. We are looking for the “point at issue” between the two people in the passage. Basically, we are trying to see where they disagree.

Both the consumer advocate and the nutritionist seem to be concerned with tropical oils, and their impact on health.

But notice a key difference: The consumer advocate says that “intensive publicity” about tropical oils will diminish many people’s health risk.

In contrast, the nutritionist says “focusing attention” on the health hazards of tropical oils would be “counterproductive.”

So, despite the terminology difference of publicity vs. focusing attention, the two speakers seem to both be talking about the same thing — but the former says it is good, and the latter says it is bad. That is where they disagree!

Answer E says just that. And that is why it is correct!

I hope that helps. Let us know if you have further questions.
