The question stem asks us to select which of the following things Yolanda does in the conversation.

Answer choice (B) is incorrect. While Yolanda makes a statement about all universities (that alcohol problems exist at all universities), this statement is not based on a generalization from one university.

Answer choice (D) essentially paraphrases what Yolanda says to Sally. Sally is basically saying that fraternities are to blame for alcohol problems at universities, and Yolanda directly attacks this by stating that alcohol problems still exist at universities where there are no fraternities.
