Argument vs set of facts
Why does establishing between an argument or set of facts matter?
What is advantage in knowing the passage is argument versus a set of facts? What does that tell us and/or allow us to do?

The primary difference is that a fact is something you must take for granted (unless the question tells you otherwise) whereas an argument may have logical flaws to be questioned (unless the question tells you otherwise!) Recognizing that a question is an argument, therefore, will allow you to immediately start looking for its weaknesses or problems.
