Isn't this more along the lines of a Must be True question?

Since we're not looking for something that directly conflicts, we're looking for something that is directly supported?

I was thinking the same thing? I don't understand how this is a cannot be a true question if were looking for something that is true?

its a cannot be true bizarro question from what i understand. so you are basically trying to find the answer choice that does not directly conflict with the stuff in the passage but its not must be true question because you aren't looking for something that is directly supported.

Thanks for the question! @nimakian801 hit the nail on the head. This isn’t a Must Be True question, it’s a Could Be True question in the form of a Cannot Be True Except. The opposite of “cannot be true” is “could be true,” so here, the answer choice is just one that could be consistent with the stimulus.
