So the question stem is asking, what is the conclusion to which Qs response weakens? Correct? We are simply looking for the conclusion that could be drawn from Ms statement?

@RyanSpencer, that's correct. Based on M's reference of the age of the predominantly right-handed people, one may try to conclude that being a right-hander confers a survival advantage because so many people 85-90 years old are right-handed, and they've all survived a while. Q's point conuters this conclusion, and this is exactly what (A) picks up on.
