@nimakian,

Happy to help.

We're tasked with identifying what type of question this is. First
off, we know that it's some type of principle question because it asks
us to pick something that would serve as a principle appealed to in
the argument countering the critics' claim. This automatically narrows
it down to (A) and (B), as theyr'e the only answer choices that are
related to a principle. In looking at the question, we see that we're
basically trying to pick a principle that closely aligns with the one
that is used in the argument. This means we're tasked with finding
something that must be true about the argument. We're not tasked with
making the argument stronger, so (A) is out. This leaves us with (B),
the correct answer.

Does this make sense? Let us know if you have any other questions!

Yes that makes sense. So its principle (must be true) because its asking which answer choice, IF ESTABLISHED, would serve the purpose of the argument. Right?
