Timing
I am able to get the answers from the methods discussed, but how am I able to do this in the approx. 1:30 I have to answer each question? Method does not seem to be time efficient . Are there any other methods that will lead to the correct answer my quickly?

It all comes down to practice. Work to master the methods discussed and then practice as many questions as you can. You will find that as you answer more questions you will start to recognize patterns and develop your own shortcuts and strategies that allow you to reach the correct answer. While you may not be able to answer the questions in the approx. 1:30 at this point in your practice, it is essential that you fully understand the methods to answering the questions first and then you can work on getting your time down.
