time trap?

Would this be considered a time trap question? Or do you believe that with practice, I can answer this within the minute and thirty seconds?

Hi @randy-nodarse,

Generally, parallel reasoning and flawed parallel reasoning can be considered "time trap" questions. It is definitely essential to practice these types and, over time, you will find that you are able to answer them more quickly. However, it is generally good practice to leave these types of questions for the end of the logical reasoning section. As all questions are worth the same amount, it is better to forfeit parallel reasoning questions than to waste time trying to answer them at the beginning, potentially putting you over time and unable to answer all of the questions in the section.

Make sure that you don't forget to answer these questions if you have time at the end and be extremely careful about skipping the bubble. You don't want to end up misbubbling and incorrectly answering the majority of the section.

Overall, with practice you will definitely get faster, but you should generally (and carefully) leave these types of questions for the end of the logical reasoning section time period.

Hope this is helpful! Let us know if you have any further questions.
