question 5

So what we are basically saying here to find out whether we use the positive or contrapositive we need to see what the conclusion is saying? I got this one right but some other questions confuse me. I can't decide which to use as well sometimes the positive or contrapositive.

@charlierusso04,

The contrapositive is logically equivalent to the original statement.
It's just two ways of saying the same thing, so it doesn't matter
which one is used because they mean the same thing.

For this question, just focus on mapping out the argument in the stimulus.

LAMB - >SPG - >Happy

LAMB - ->Happy

A - >B - >C

A

Therefore, C

That's the structure of the stimulus.

Looking at (C), we have

SE - >HRI - >Overexcited

SE - >OE

This has the same structure as the stimulus, so it's the correct answer choice.
