"Most" in choice B
Hi LSAT Max!
I almost eliminated B as an answer choice because I was debating whether "most" was strong enough to weaken (since it means more than half). Does "most" work in this situation because it's the best answer choice? Also, is it counterproductive to overthink small details like this? Thanks in advance for the help!

I think it's important to take note of words like "most," especially on a test like the LSAT, where a single word can change the whole meaning of an answer choice. Remember, though, as you note, that we're always looking for the best answer choice, and (B) is the best answer choice. "Most" still works here because it suggests that it's more likely than not that the eruption wasn't succeeded by climate change. I wouldn't overthink it too much, since that takes up valuable time, but it's certainly a good thing to note when you're comparing answer choices against each other. Hope this helps!
