Rule 1 Set-Up

Hi LSAT Max, For this game, I wrote out the years as "7, 8, 9" instead of "'87, etc.". Does this change alter the logic of rule 1? When I did my set-up, I wrote down Rule 1 as C being less than or equal to P, whereas the video explanation has it as greater than or equal to. Any help would be greatly appreciated, many thanks in advance!

@Julie-V,

Using 7,8,9 does not alter the logic, though I would recommend using 87,88,89 for this game because it is more visually intuitive. The video explanation uses C>=P to demonstrate that it is older, i.e. older = more years. I agree with your approach and would diagram it as C<=P as well. The bottom line is there no one single right version to diagram the rules, it is ultimately about what works best for you.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
