don't get how B applies to the biologist
I still don't get how B applies to the argument made by the biologist if she/he was saying that not KAE--> not FCD? How can you deduce that answer choice B would still apply to this conditional statement

(B) says, "Deforestation is stopped and the koala becomes extinct."
(B) affirms the sufficient condition of the politician's claim while also denying the necessary condition, so it has to be false. It can still be true according to the biologist, so (B) is the correct answer choice since it is consistent with the biologist's claim but not with the politician's claim.
