@Meredith,Great question. While there isn't a need to diagram this stimulus, we
can diagram a few statements
Recycling plastic - >result is lower grade plastic
Plastic lower than lowest commercial grade - >no applications have been found
From this, we can conclude that when one recycles the lowest
commercial grade of plastic, one ends up with plastic that has no
application.
We're looking for the answer choice that contains a conclusion that
can be drawn from the stimulus.
(A) says, "Products cannot presently be made out of plastic recycled
entirely from the currently lowest commercial grade."
(A) does a great job at combining the two things that we know from the
stimulus pertaining to plastic. We know that recycling it degrades its
quality and that plastics that are lower than the lowest commercial
grade have no present applications. (A) is a conclusion we can make
from the stimulus, so it's the correct answer choice.
Does this make sense? Let us know if you have any other questions!

Also Meredith, remember that "no" is a S & N indicator. When you see "no" follow the rules: 1) pick a variable to make the sufficient condition 2) negate the other variable to make it the necessary condition. So that last sentence reads: "Moreover, NO applications have been found for grades of plastic that are lower than the currently lowest commercial grade. Our variables: Applications (A) and Plastics that are lower than the currently lowest commercial grade (PLCLG)
Diagram following the rules (I chose applications/a to be my sufficient) then I negated the remaining variable (plastics that are lower than the currently lowest commercial grade/PLCLG) to be the necessary
Looks like:
A ---> not PLCLG
PLCLG ---> not A (contrapositive and thus same meaning)
I hope that helps. I almost forgot about "no" being an S&N indicator as I was going through this question!

I keep making the same mistake in diagramming No statements. When I read No Applications..., I made "Not A" my S, and negated the PLCLG for N
