for question 24, why is the answer C and not E?

I am wondering why C is the correct answer and not E? I thought the conclusion would be it poses a threat to all organisms since the word stem refers to the last sentence which talks about different organisms such ass the zooplankton and photoplankton.

@Eva-Paron,

I saw you said this is for question 24, but the question it's linking
to has (D) as the correct answer choice, and here's the stimulus:

"Ambiguity inspires interpretation. The saying, "We are the measure
of all things," for instance, has been interpreted by some people to
imply that humans are centrally important in the universe, while
others have interpreted it to mean simply that, since all knowledge is
human knowledge, humans must rely on themselves to find the truth."

There's no mention about zooplankton and phytoplankton. If you could
direct me to the question you're referring to, that'd be great.
