Second Half of the Question
I understand determining which person can be the 1st and 6th message but I thought the second half of the question "could be the 1st and 2nd messages" meant after testing to see if the person worked for 1 and 6 we THEN needed to see if that same person in a different situation could be 1 and 2 ..... is this a correct understanding? The video didn't mention this nor did the message board so I'm confused ..........

Great question. The part about 1st and 2d message only refers to the "left by" part of the question, meaning it is the first and second message for this particular person rather than the first and second message left on the machine. This question only requires us to determine the person for messages 1 & 6, not messages 1 & 2.
