Comparative Passages Questions - - Question 10

In which one of the following ways are the passages NOT parallel?

Answer Choice E

I'm still having trouble seeing how Passage B does not outline a theory. The author of passage B claims that "perhaps the currently fashionable call for attention to narrative in legal education could have an effect on [lawyers' bad writing]," which seems like a theory of the potential effect of a change in approach. How can we know that such a statement is not a "theory"?

@Max-Cherman,

It is the other way around. The answer choice (E) says that passage A does not outline a theory, whereas passage B does as you pointed out.
