Game set up
I am having trouble understanding why the base for ordering in this game is A-E when he could have received the same grade twice? When I first read this question I thought it was a group game. What language in the set up should have altered me to setting up the game this way? Thanks for your time.

I find it more intuitive to use grades as a base because the rules use grades as a reference point (higher grade in x than y) and because the grades are ordinal - A is higher than B etc, whereas there is no logical order to the listing of the courses. That being said, if an alternative setup works better for you - using subjects instead, it is perfectly fine to use as well. There is no single right way to set up the game.
