Explanation of Incorrect Answer Choices
I honestly landed on D because the other choices were confusing and didn't seem supported by the passage. Could someone please explain why A,C,D, and E are wrong?

Thanks for the question! Let’s take a look at the stimulus. The book review is reviewing a book that discusses 3 basic ways to store energy. The author of the stimulus then says that one of those ways doesn’t really work (electricity), and that there are other ways not in the list (chemical, gravitational, nuclear). The question then asks us what criticism the review makes. Well, it’s saying that some things on the list are wrong, and others aren’t there, and that’s what (B) tells us. The fact that this matches so well factors into why the other answer choices are wrong.
(A) is wrong because the author doesn’t talk about how basic the ways of storing energy are.
(C) is wrong because the author doesn’t talk about using energy at all in the passage.
(D) is wrong because the passage doesn’t weigh effectiveness of storing energy against “basic-ness†of storing energy.
(E) is wrong for similar reasons to (D). Passage doesn’t compare effectiveness of storing energy or “basic-ness†of storing energy. Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any further questions if you have them.
