So the glitch is still here for this passage with the questions and message board responses being out of order. Can someone please explain why for this question "According to the passage, the English attitude..." why the correct answer is C please? Thanks.

(C) is supported by lines 44-47 "to the English the word "constitution" meant the whole body of law and legal custom formulated since the beginning of the kingdom." (C) "a cumulative corpus of legislation and legal traditions" is a paraphrase of this statement as corpus is synonymous with body, legislation - with law, and tradition - with custom.

Why is the answer C and not A? What is wrong with answer A for this question?

What about B? Why Is b wrong? I thought it was supported by those same lines (44-47) @Irina
