TRANSITIVE CHAIN

For a question like this where there is a transitive chain, can you just write out the transitive chain and read through the choices to see which one fits? Instead of diagramming out all the answer choices? Thanks

@chris_va,

Definitely! On a real test, you are unlikely to diagram as much as for practice questions, and for a question like this, diagramming the initial chain is sufficient to establish the proper inference. It is still not a bad idea to do it if you feel like you need more practice diagramming conditional statements, but it is definitely not required. Let me know if you have any further questions.
