Streams seem to refer to supply-side
I am confused why D is the answer in terms of the streams referring to demand-side. It seems to be that the streams refer to the supply-side since I thought the streams were indicating the skilled versus unskilled labor options for the market.

The phrase "two immigrant streams" is used in the course of the discussion of "the structural or demand" side (line 50). Even though it is true that it refers to skills/ unskilled labor streams, these two streams originated in response to a differentiated demand for skilled/ unskilled labor in the advanced capital economy (line 57-60).
