Game Set Up
How did you know you needed to write out the different scenarios with J and K? Would you be ok without writing that out? What was your clue you needed to? Confused by the video.

@Meredith Happy to help! This is can be a really tricky game to grasp at first.
The video wrote out different scenarios with J and K because of the nature of duality of the rule and the overlapping sections. In other words, the possible options were so limited that it was feasible to foresee and write out the different scenarios. The key here is the limited set of possibilities that depend on changing the placement of only a few key variables. Although you may be able to figure out the question without writing down these different scenarios, it would likely take significantly more time as well as trial and error. While writing these out may take more time during the set-up, it will pay off as you're working through the questions. Therefore, I strongly recommend writing the scenarios out in these cases. If you're looking for more practice on knowing when to do this, I would suggest reviewing the GURU games lesson.
