All and the introduction to Sufficient Statements

Hello, I was a bit puzzled by NFTB being the Sufficient and IRD being the Necessary after IRD was preceded by "All". How is this so?

Oh, and also, is "because" a sufficient or necessary indicator?

Sorry, wrong question

@Vanessa-Ratcliff,

It is important to look at the indicator in the context of the overall sentence. In this case, we could rearrange the sentence to say 'all normal full terms babies are born with certain reflexes," so even though the sentence is written as "all born," all is still a sufficient indicator for "all babies." "Because" is not a conditional indicator. In this case, it simply tells us that "exhibits reflects" is true, hence we can conclude that "a normal full-term baby" is false. The basic structure of the argument is:

A -> B
~B
Therefore, ~A
