whew chile....but i still got the right answer!

So much reading...I pretty much scanned until I saw something that looked like a conclusion (Nature will continually adjust the carbon level so environmentalist can chill). Then the evidence...a lot of blather about what happens when you increase and decrease (aka info that's not needed to answer this question). Info I did find relevant was about the environmentalist who did worry that burning fossil fuels may raise atmospheric carbon to a dangerous level. I thought the link between the conclusion and the evidence was something about "carbon levels being adjusted" and once again my "break the link" method worked. Answer choice E stated broke the link "The natural ADJUSTMENT process, which occurs over millions of years, allows wide fluctuations in the carbon level in the short term." I don't know if I'm just lucking out approaching these weaken questions like this, but I've noticed that the correct answer choice speaks to break the link b/w the evidence and the conclusion. I've been able to answer questions correctly even when I don't think I really understood what was being said. I just knew that I found the link and the answer choice sounded like it was breaking the link and none of the other answer choices even mentioned the link.
