Question about Game Set Up

Is there any situation in which L could be at S. Looking at the rules if L is at S then both N and P are at R. If N is at R then so is O. If P is at R then O is at S. This is a binary question so O could not be at both R and S. Could we then place L in R from the start or am I missing something? Thanks for your help in advance!

@Khalid-Aboujamous,

Great catch! Yes, it is impossible for L to be at S, it must always be at R. It is an odd inference considering we have if L is at S..rule, but this logical chain leads to a contradiction as you have correctly identified, so we can conclude that L is at R from the start.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

I was afraid I was missing something. Thanks for the clarification Irina!

I had same question, kept getting this contradiction when I was trying to set the game up and was concerned I was doing something wrong. I am glad to know that I was correct, but now I’m worried... does LSAC do this often??
