Why is the answer Q?
I watched the video, but couldn't you also take the route G-R-U-S and that's the same number of stops as G-Q-U-S? Except you wouldn't have to go through letter Q this time, changing the answer.

While GRUS is a valid option to get from G to S, the question asks us for the route with the fewest possible stops AND the fewest subway lines. GQUS only involves two subway lines, whereas GRUS involves three - L4, L3, and L1.
