Unfortunately, I do not see the previous posts that you are referring to. Regardless, I will attempt to explain this question with a fresh perspective.

Let's take a look at lines 5-12 and more specifically 10-12. This shows there was political debate between the colonials and the English. The colonials claimed to be more loyal to English political tradition than the English in England themselves. Taking these two statements, it is implied that the colonials would view as a source of debate their greater loyalty to English political tradition as compared to the English in England. This is why answer choice E is correct.
