Why would E not be the correct answer?

I was about to pick A and move on but I kept reading through the answers and E looked very similiar to A. I thought E was the better answer though. Can someone explain how they differ and why A would be the better answer?

Hello @MACZ,

The only things that we know about these two strategies are their levels of concentration and mental exhaustion. "Associative" strategies cause mental exhaustion for at least a day, while "dissociative" strategies do not. We have no information to say which is more effective in training. However, if it is the day before a race, we know that "associative" strategies will have negative consequences. This is why A logically completes the argument.

We cannot conclude E, because there may be benefits to "associative" strategies during training. We know the recovery times, but we do not know their overall effectiveness.
