Why not to consider Center 1

I follow all the logic, but when it comes to decide I don't understand why only center 2 and 3 should be consider. The video says it is because those centers just have to options of materials but I don't get why the one with 3 options cannot be the answer.

The center with three materials (Center 1) cannot be the answer because we are asked to identify the answer choice that "could be a COMPLETE and accurate list" of materials assigned to a center, and all of the answer choices have exactly two materials listed. Since we know that Center 1 has three materials, it is impossible that any of the answer choices that have two materials listed could be a complete list for Center 1.

Answer choice (A) is correct as evidenced by the following scenario:
Center 1: W N G
Center 2: N G
Center 3: P T

Answer choice (B) is incorrect because we know that Center 1 is the only center that can have wood, and we know that it has a total of three materials.

Answer choice (C) is incorrect because it would require P and G to be assigned to the same center, which violates Rule #3.
Center 1: W N T
Center 2: N T
Center 3: P G

Answer choice (D) is incorrect because we know that Center 1 is the only center that can have wood, and we know that it has a total of three materials.

Answer choice (E) is incorrect because it would require P to be assigned to two centers, which violates Rule #3.
Center 1: W N P
Center 2: N P
Center 3: G T
