@cglee,For some reason, I am not able to access the question. Could you specify which test/ question # you are referring to?

@cglee, happy to help!We are given the following statement and asked about its diagram: "All Labrador retrievers bark a great deal."
We should recognize that the word "all" is a Sufficient condition indicator, which means that "Labrador retrievers" is our Sufficient condition. This can be diagrammed as: Labrador -> Bark a great deal. To save time, we would write: L -> BGD.
If it helps, we can think of this sentence as having the same meaning as if it were reworded to include typical if/then language: "If you are a Labrador, then you bark a great deal."
We have found the original statement: L -> BGD. Next we can reverse and negate to find the contrapositive of this statement, which would be: not BGD -> not L. These are the only two S->N statements we can deduce from what we're given.
Answer choice (A) is the only option that restates either one of these statements (it restates the contrapositive), so it is correct.
If you're having a hard time with these questions, I would highly recommend rewatching the S->N video lesson. This can be a hard concept to grasp at first, but it is critical to understanding the LSAT. With more practice, this section should become easier to understand.
Does that make sense? Please let us know if you have any other questions!

I feel like I would have had a better understanding of the question if there were not random abbreviations utilized. What is my message to you look like this: hhrud->ifiukwim
Do you understand what I said? Or, do you understand what I mean?

Hi,The abbreviations can be a bit jarring, but they are ultimately there to help save you time. When you do your own diagrams of an LR or LG question, it is a lot easier to write, for example "AIE '' rather than "advanced industrialized economies" several times. That said, when you make your own abbreviations, they often make much more sense to you than the abbreviations you see others make.
For example, I personally would have abbreviated this more along the lines of L - B, especially since its a fairly straightforward statement. I completely understand how weird these abbreviations feel, but I do think that it becomes easier to use and understand these abbreviations on your own.
