Can someone please explain the problem with E? I understand why D is correct but I cannot rule out E completely. Please help. Thank you.

Let's look at (E).

(E) says, "some children might become good musicians even if they have
not had good musical educations"

The problem with (E) is that the argument is limited to whether or not
the parents want to provide a strong foundation for their kids'
musical ability. What the children do with their musical ability in
the future doesn't matter, as whether or not they become good
musicians is not part of the argument. Thus, we can get rid of (E).
