I do not understand the passage

as i gathered jogging causes those disorders but if the correct answer is A it is stating that is not the case

Thanks for the question! I’m not sure what you mean by if the correct answer is (A) it is stating that is not the case. This is an assumption question, so (A) is actually saying that the argument assumes that the link between jogging and certain structural disorders appears to be a causal one, since stating that the human anatomy can’t withstand the stresses of jogging assumes that jogging causes the problems that were mentioned earlier in the stimulus. So (A) actually affirms the truth of that claim—maybe the words “appears to” tripped you up?
