Answer D
Hi, I got this answer correct, but can someone explain what answer D would look like? I don't even know what the status of alleged counter examples means.

Answer (D) essentially says that the argument is flawed because it fails to consider counter-examples. Here's an example argument:
"In order to succeed, you need a college degree. But some claim people there are lots of people who don't have a college degree who are successful. These people are not important, because in order to succeed you need a college degree."
In the example above, the argument essentially ignores the counter-example. This is an example of "fails to consider the status of alleged counterexamples."
This is different from the argument in the stimulus because Morton actually does consider the counterexamples, but just discounts them by saying "this success is only apparent."
