Why I thought B is the most straightforward paraphrase of the "point at issue"....

The conclusion of Henry is: There must be some other explanation for the honeybees' dance. And Winifred said: not necessarily---> B: there is more than one explanation for the dance of honeybees. I don't see why this is broadly-worded, but rather the most straightforward expression of Henry's conclusion that Winifred does not agree with. Can you please further explain a bit? Thanks!

Hello @Karry-Jiao,

When Henry says, "There must therefore be some other explanation for the honeybees' dance," he is simply arguing that food source communication is not the explanation. He just rejects one possible reason for the dance. He is not saying that there are multiple valid explanations. We don't really know if he agrees or disagrees with answer choice B.

When Winifred responds with "Not necessarily," she is saying that "there is not necessarily another explanation." She believes it is possible that the honeybees' dance is meant to communicate food source locations. Henry believes this is not possible. Therefore, this is the point at issue.

I get your point. Thanks very much for your explanation!
