Hello @gharibiannick,

(For some reason I can't see the question that you are asking about, but I think I figured it out. If this doesn't make any sense please reply and direct me to the question.)

"If" sometimes appears in the question stem rather than the passage. We won't necessarily diagram it like we would a sufficient/necessary premise, but it still makes an impact. Think about it this way: "If established" is just like saying "If true."

"Which of the following, if true, would strengthen the argument?"

"Which of the following principles, if established, would justify the author's conclusion?"

But, when you say "sufficient strengthener that's a principle," it actually makes a lot of sense! We are looking for a principle that justifies the conclusion, so we are looking for a principle that is sufficient for that conclusion.

P - - - -> C

If the principle is established, then the conclusion is justified.

Are there keywords that I should look for besides "Principle" that will point to what type of "Principal" like assumption? I'm going slow as I don't plan until late next year to take the LSAT. I sometimes go back to "Into to logical reasoning"; to refresh my memory, especially the cards.

Hey @Lamont!

Generally principle questions are their own unique thing. Relying on other assumptions are similar, but principles truly are unique. I definitely recommend continuing to use the cards and reviewing old videos, memorisation makes it lot easier!
