Help in understanding the argument “flaw”

In the answer explanation, it is noted that the argument is flawed. Can I please have an understanding of why. Is it the phrase, can only be met that causes the flaw? Thank you.

@bb042745, happy to help!

The argument is flawed because it makes an unsupported logical jump from the first sentence to the second sentence. How do we know that the needs of obscure species will go unmet without bald eagles? We don't. The first sentence does not necessarily give us enough information to make that connection.

Does that make sense? Please let us know if you have any other questions!
