Answer choice C

I quickly chose answer choice C because it was the only choice where the conclusion also had the quantifier most alike the flawed stimulus. Strategically was that a good move?

@Shirnel, yes!

Looking for the same pattern of logical statements used (i.e. quantifiers or S->N statements) is a great thing to be on the lookout for in these types of questions. We see this idea reinforced in the "Answer Anticipation" section of the explanation, which clarifies that we are looking for two most premises and a most conclusion. We are able to conclude this because the flaw is directly related to the structure in this case.

Nevertheless, I would caution against relying entirely on this to be the sole indicator of the answer. While we can use this as a trick to quickly identify what we think could be the right answer, we should still take the time to read through that answer choice and confirm it is making the same flaw as the passage.

Does that make sense? Please let us know if you have any other questions and best of luck with your studies!

Could this methodology still apply in situations like this because here all the other answer choices would be eliminated just by reading the fact that they had at most one "Most" statement?

Thanks
