Just want to clarify

Answer choice A is the most similar to the stimulus but it isn't the exact same since answer choice A negates both the variables in the quantifier statement while the stimulus only negates one. Is that right?

@Shirnel, happy to help!

Answer choice (A) and the passage make the same flaw. Both make an invalid Some statement by reversing and negating both variables in a Most statement.

The passage tells us: EPA - most - not SJ
It takes this to falsely conclude: SJ - some - not EPA

(A) tells us: S - most - not MWP
It takes this to falsely conclude: MWP - some - not S

We could also think of this flaw as reversing and negating one variable in a Some statement.
The passage tells us: EPA - some - SJ
It takes this to falsely conclude: SJ - some - not EPA

(A) tells us: S - some - MWP
It takes this to falsely conclude: MWP - some - not S

Does that make sense? Please let us know if you have any other questions!
