Double Negatives

I chose A however read Melody's explanation this I understand why B is the answer however one of the reasons I immediately canceled B is because the double negative confused me. Are there any pointers for dealing with double negatives?

Hi Shirnel,

Unfortunately, I don't have much advice to share in regards to double negatives other than that you shouldn't nix an answer choice just because you spot one. The examiners are trying to throw you off by adding in a double negative. So, you want to take the extra moment to untangle the double negative (in this case, not unobtrusive = possibly obtrusive). Once you've done that, you can re-read the answer choice with the full meaning in your mind.
