Test Day Set up
Hello,
My question is directed at the new changes with the LSAT being offered on technology rather than paper and pen now. Will I be able to write/highlight the reading passages or just have paper and pen to jot down notes while reading? Do you have a certain amount of note-taking that you recommend for these sections? In the example you write the main point for each paragraph next to it, but I am not sure if you do that just to show the watcher or if that's a good tool to adopt for when I am taking the exam.
Thank you!

I took the very first digital LSAT (in-person with a tablet). I was hoping for pencil and paper, but the digital version has advantages and disadvantages. You will be able to highlight, but you will not be able to write notes next to the passage as you might do on paper. This is something that I had to change after preparing for the paper version. If you want to continue writing notes, you will be able to do so on scratch paper. However, I recommend keeping written notes very short. A 1-3 word summary of each paragraph would probably be just fine. I chose not to write any notes when I heard I would be taking the digital test, opting just to highlight important points instead. I didn't want to take my eyes off of the passage to look at scratch paper, but that might be a personal paranoia of mine. Whatever you prefer should be fine, as long as you don't spend too much time writing notes. I'm all for a personalized approach.
An advantage of the digital version is the running clock on the screen. It makes keeping track of time very easy. Another is that it is easy to mark questions and return to them later without worrying about a catastrophic scantron error.
